How did Wdc begin its career in the affordable housing field?
Wdc is a pioneer in the development of affordable housing for low-income families, elderly, and individuals with special needs. Wdc was founded in 1979, arising from a sharing process of ideas and goals among three women architects. For over a year, these women, at their own personal expense, identified several potential areas in need of nonprofit housing services. They identified and applied for several potential sources of funding. The first project selected and launched by Wdc was in the Elmwood and Mt. Hope sections of Providence in October of 1979.
How many projects has Wdc completed?
